Construction works at SITTEC construction site

Construction is underway at SITTEC titanium coagulant industrial production site in the Komi Republic.

Metal constructions of SITTEC Ltd. production complex facilities are being installed at the construction site of the titanium coagulant production in the Ukhta region in the Komi Republic under the construction and installation works plan.

The metal constructions design documents have been prepared by FSUE “RSC” Applied Chemistry” Design Institute (St. Petersburg). All the design aspects take into consideration the fact that the plant is a technically complex and unique construction that must meet all current requirements in industrial security and environmental protection.

It should be mentioned that a considerable part of construction materials, as well as of services, is ordered from Komi enterprises. Thus, metal constructions are produced in the Ukhta mechanical repair factory which already produced metal constructions for Facility No.3 (chlorine warehouse) in autumn 2011 and proved itself to be a reliable and highly professional partner.

SITTEC is planning to start balancing and commissioning in Q4 2012.

SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, is realizing the project of building up of titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Ukhta Region, the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal waste water treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economical advantages over other coagulants.
