SITTEC Ltd. and the Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship have carried out a joint 3-day practical and tutorial workshop and staff training at SITTEC’s Ukhta branch for the purpose of upgrading the skills of the company’s managerial staff. The workshop programme comprised important current issues of applying the labour laws of the Russian Federation.

The workshop was devoted to the principal aspects of social and labour relations, as well as to the new types of work arrangement. The workshop programme covered the following issues:

- acute problems of social and labour relations and the ways to solve them;
- statutory regulation of occupational safety in an organization. Reforming the occupational safety system. Occupational risks and their influence on the economics of enterprises;
- statutory regulation of the system of personal data processing and protection in Russia. Application of the laws. Acute problems and the ways to solve them.

The Russian Academy of Entrepreneurship has carried out educational activity since 1990. The Academy aims at developing essential and practical principles of entrepreneurship in Russia which can solve economic, industrial, financial, and social problems both at regional, and at federal scales. The head of the Academy is Balabanov Vladimir Semyonovich, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honoured Science Worker of the Russian Federation.

SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, is realizing the project of building up titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal waste water treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economic advantages over other coagulants.
