SITTEC carries on the good tradition of partnership with Ybitsa festival held in Yb settlement

On March 29 the ethnocultural park “Finnougoria” in Yb settlement, the Komi Republic, hosted the third sports festival “Winter Ybitsa”.

The Ybitsa project initiated in 2011 in the Komi Republic comprises two separate events: the Ybitsa International Finno-Ugric Festival, and Winter Ybitsa Sports festival. These events with two different contents are held in the ethnocultural park “Finnougoria” twice a year – in summer and winter.

SITTEC which remains a partner and sponsor of the festivals has received an official gratitude from the government of the Komi Republic.

This year among the guests of the festival there were Sergey Tchepikov and Anatoly Alyabyev, two-time Olympic champions in biathlon, the triple Sochi Olympic champion Darya Domracheva, and well-known television commentator Dmitriy Guberniev.

The organizing committee reports that the Winter Ybitsa gathered over 5,100 people from Komi, Kirov Oblast, and Perm Krai. Around 3,165,000 people from different countries throughout the world, including Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Latvia, Germany, Georgia, Armenia, Israel, the USA, Azerbaijan, Sweden, Romania, the UK, Italy, Spain, Mexico, France, Canada, Finland, Turkey, Bangladesh, and Saudi Arabia, watched the live streaming of the event on the First Internet Channel.

The guests met the Komi sports administration and discussed the future development of biathlon in the region. Darya Domracheva held a demonstrative master class for young Komi biathletes. For more information please visit the official website of the project
SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, is realizing the project of building up titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal waste water treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economic advantages over other coagulants.
