SITTEC (Moscow, Russia) is a part of IFD Kapital Group that is one of the largest diversified holdings in Russia.
3 October 2016 saw Yarega Mines History Museum (2 Kosmonavtov Street, Yarega Settlement, the Ukhta Region) open a new updated exposition with an eye to introducing the young generation and visitors to Yarega with the history of Yarega oil and titanium deposit development as well as with the history and current activity of SITTEC and its product – Titanium Coagulant.
SITTEC’s exposition neighbours Yareganeft Oil Mining Bureau and LUKOIL-Komi. The whole exhibition complex gives a clear picture of the development of the largest Russian titanium deposit. The museum in cooperation with SITTEC prepared two information films: one for school students – displaying processing stages and introducing principal production cycles, and the other one for locals and visitors to Yarega with a more detailed information on the development of the oil- and titanium-rich region.
SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, carries out titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Ukhta Region, the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal wastewater treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economic advantages over other coagulants.
