SITTEC receives Certificate of Registration in the Register of Hazardous Production Facilities
On 23 August 2016, SITTEC obtained Certificate of Registration, confirming the entry of “The Titanium Coagulant Production Plant” in the State Register of Hazardous Production Facilities.
The registration was made by the Interregional Technological Directorate of Rostekhnadzor. Specialists of Pechora Rostekhnadzor Directorate checked the identification correctness on site, with due consideration of previous checks, conducted by Rostekhnadzor.
The registration procedure required examination of design, process, and approval documents, including:
General buildings and facilities location plan;
Documents for technical equipment, used at the hazardous production facility (datasheet, certificates of conformity, etc.);
Data on the quantity of hazardous substances, processed in titanium coagulant production;
Specification of the equipment installed;
On registration, the facility was assigned Class III – Moderate Hazard Facility (out of four existing hazard classes: I – Extreme Hazard, IV – Low Hazard).
SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, carries out titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Ukhta Region, the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal wastewater treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economic advantages over other coagulants.
