SITTEC becomes partner of the Komi Mixed Martial Arts Federation as preparations continue for the republic’s coming 95th anniversary celebrations
SITTEC supported Mixed Martial Arts fighter Andrei Seledtsov, a former intelligence officer and Special Forces agent, as part of preparations for the Komi Republic’s 95th anniversary celebrations. Andrei Seledtsov represented Ukhta in the famous M-1 Challenge 66, this time held in Orenburg on 27 May 2016, where he had a three-round fight against former champion Stephan Puetz ranking among world’s top 20 fighters. Even though the victory went to the German, the Komi fighter looked very confident, proving that Komi sportsmen may compete as equals against world’s best athletes.
Promoting sports and healthy lifestyle is one of SITTEC’s socially oriented activities, and developing MMA pushes forward physical training both in Ukhta and in the Komi Republic as a whole.
SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, carries out titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Ukhta Region, the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal wastewater treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economic advantages over other coagulants.
