On 9 June 2015 Federal State Budgetary Institution Administrative and Services Bureau of the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Centre of Metrology and Certification “SERTIMENT” granted SITTEC CJSC Measurement technique attestation certificate No. 88-17645-003-RA.RU.310657-2015.
The technique of applying colorimetric method for measuring total content of titanium cations in samples of natural and drinking water, wastewater, and process water was developed by Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science Institute of Chemistry of Komi Scientific Centre of the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The method is designed for carrying out analysis over samples of natural and drinking water, as well as of natural, drinking, process waters and wastewaters, which have undergone titanium treatment, and has an expanded application field. It may also be applied for industrial circulating waters of enterprises and feeding and circulating water of heat and power stations.
SITTEC Ltd., which is part of IFD Kapital Group, is realizing the project of building up titanium coagulant production on the basis of Yarega oil and titanium resource (the Ukhta Region, the Komi Republic, the Russian Federation). Titanium coagulant is an innovative highly effective chemical for drinking water production, and industrial and municipal wastewater treatment. The superior removal capacity of titanium coagulant is accounted for by the high adsorption capacity of titanium containing phases in the product, which has significant technical and economic advantages over other coagulants.
